Charities & Ecclesiastical Law

As the Charity Commission steps up the regulation of the charity and volunteer sector, our specialist team is increasingly acting in the administration and establishment of worthy causes, ensuring that they can continue with their good work.

Nick Cummings
Nick oversees the Ecclesiastical and Charities departments,
and in particular deals with property transactions for the many
local charities which the firm manages. In addition he acts both
as a solicitor and trustee for a number of them.

Lesley Stuart
Lesley specialises in non-contentious ecclesiastical and charity conveyancing and associated property work.

Helen McFall
Helen joined the Ecclesiastical department of Birch Cullimore in October 2007, and was also appointed as Diocesan Registrar in May 2008.
