Biography
After completing his articles at Rutherfords in central Liverpool, John joined Birch Cullimore in 1984.
He deals with virtually all aspects of Civil Litigation and Liquor Licensing and has taken cases to the Court of Appeal. John also specialises in Equine litigation.
He is experienced in Employment work and was involved, successfully, with a colleague in one of the leading cases involving Sex Discrimination in
a Partnership.
John's university degree in History was from Sheffield with specialisms in Japanese and Far Eastern History. His interests include watching and playing Cricket (he claimed
his first ever hat-trick 2 years ago), Rugby, the self-flagellation of watching Chester City, Music, (he is a Glastonbury old hand).
John is married with 3 adult children. He is a Director of Chester Aid to the Homeless (CATH), and will be President of the Chester & North Wales Law Society in
