Cullimore Dutton recent hosted another successful seminar titled 'Leading the Recovery' at the Chester Racecourse, aimed at helping small to medium-sized businesses in and around the North West, to survive the recession.

The seminar was well attended by invited guests, representing banks, land owners, commercial businesses and national agents.

The guests were welcomed by Tim Parker, a partner in Cullimore Dutton, who introduced the speakers from his firm – Rory Lea, Commercial partner, who spoke on the hazards for the business proprietor, Laura O’Hare, Employment Solicitor, on how to avoid the pitfalls on redundancy and James Goddard, Commercial Solicitor, on how to agree a recession-proof lease.

Guest speakers, Caroline Allan, Director of Allans Chartered Surveyors, spoke on property management in a declining market and Len Bell of Champion Accountants, spoke on the management of finance and the importance of the three c’s – cash flow, consultation and communication.

Drinks and canapés were later enjoyed by all the guests, partners and staff from the three firms.
