Cheshire-born Rory studied law at Cambridge University before returning to Chester to train with Mason & Moore Dutton. He specialises in commercial and agricultural law. Rory is a Past President of Chester & North Wales Law Society and the Association of North Western Law Societies. He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association. Rory also lectures and writes on legal topics for solicitors and lay groups.
Rory is married with two children. His interests include music, walking and fishing. Rory was a non-executive director of Chester Summer Music Festival for 20 years and sings in a chamber choir.
